Here is Pops at his 66th birthday party last September. We ate dinner at this Chinese restaurant with some of his closest friends and family. Auntie Monisa came up all the way from California for it too!
66, and he still has good enough lungs to blow out his birthday candles!
Grandpa passed away a month before Mom's birthday, so we never got the chance to really celebrate hers. This cake is for both of them.
Pops and Lisa played a little duet, Lisa on her violin, and Pops on his treasured harmonica. Talk about good enough lungs for his birthday candles....he was playin' the harmonica like a pro!
Pop's nieces even sang a song for him.
While the immediate family had to speak in front of everyone! Luckily I got to play the wife card and Mike said everything on our behalf. I just got to stand there and look pretty:)
